Spa Town
The town of Inowrocław is nicknamed the ‘Salt City’ because the salt in question had a significant influence on the development of the town and its surroundings. Inowrocław used to have a rock salt mine, which unfortunately was closed in the 1970s due to water-related issues.
Salt Graduation Tower - City Symbol
Inowrocław is a spa town that attracts people from all over Poland and abroad. It is home to numerous sanatoriums with modern facilities, situated in the salt graduation park, which houses the second-largest salt inhalation facility in Poland.
Shopping Center
The identity of the mall, both in its name and architecture, significantly echoes the town’s salt heritage. The mall is located in close proximity to the salt inhalation facility.

The Crystal or the Diamond
Playing with the salt crystal itself ultimately led to an association with the diamond – the purest crystal. The circular shape of the diamond allowed it to be incorporated into the word “Solna”.

Gray
The shades of blue and gray evoke the symbolism of the salt inhalation facility. Blue and light blue symbolize elegance and tranquility, while the gray hue adds delicacy. Referencing the salt inhalation facility, a place of rejuvenation and renewal, adds meaning and underscores the aspects of health and relaxation.
These color elements create an impression of prestige, tranquility, and customer well-being. It is a perfect choice for shopping centers aiming to convey an atmosphere of luxury, uniqueness, and customer care, creating a distinctive place where they can enjoy both shopping and relaxation.

Inspiration from the Logo
The interior design of the shopping center drew inspiration from our logo, incorporating elements that reflect its shape and color palette. To reference the salt crystal, geometric lighting shapes were used, reminiscent of crystalline structures.
The color palette of the shopping center aligns with the logo’s shades, such as navy blue, blue, and gray. These colors are found in various decorative elements, such as walls, furniture, and accessories, providing a consistent and harmonious appearance to the interior.
Furthermore, to reinforce the reference to salt crystals, delicate details like glass partitions or crystal suspensions were placed to capture light and create a sparkling effect.
The entire interior design project in the shopping center is meticulously planned to create a unique atmosphere, evoking a sense of elegance, tranquility, and customer well-being. The combination of logo elements, colors, and the salt crystal shape creates an unforgettable impression and gives the mall’s interior a distinctive character.

⬤ 02. WAYFINDING
Salt Crystal
information panels
In the signage project, we drew inspiration from the structure of the salt crystal, creating shapes and patterns reminiscent of its configuration. Information panels, directional signs, and wayfinding signs were designed to reflect its delicate lines and geometric patterns.
The color palette of the visual information system is based on the characteristic hues of salt crystals, including subtle shades of blue, gray, and transparency. These colors are used on information panels, as well as in graphics and symbols that guide customers throughout the shopping center.
Moreover, to reinforce the reference to salt crystals, I used lighting effects that highlight the delicate reflections and transparency of the structures. Light is used as an orientation element, marking key points and passages in the shopping center.
The entire signage system is carefully designed to provide comfort and ease of movement for customers while echoing the aesthetics of the salt crystal. The combination of shapes, colors, and lighting effects creates a coherent visual information system that not only aids navigation but also adds a distinctive and modern touch to the shopping mall.
